SLES is a chemical, a pale yellow paste, mainly used as a foaming agent and detergent for shampoo bath liquid.

SLES is an anionic surfactant with excellent performance. It has good cleaning, emulsification, wetting, thickening and foaming properties, good solubility, wide compatibility, strong hard water resistance, high biodegradability, and low irritation to skin and eyes.

SLES is widely used in liquid detergents such as dishwashing detergents, shampoos, bubble baths and hand soaps. SLES can also be used in laundry detergents and heavy-duty detergents. Using SLES instead of LAS can save or reduce the amount of phosphate and reduce the total amount of active ingredients. In the textile, printing and dyeing, petroleum and leather industries, SLES can be used as a lubricant, dye, detergent, foaming agent and degreaser.
