Product Description

Rosin refers to a non-volatile natural resin obtained from pine resin through different processing methods. Rosin is an important chemical raw material widely used in industries such as soap, paper, paint, rubber, etc.
Rosin can be classified into three types based on its source: resin rosin, wood rosin, and floating oil rosin. Rosin is a transparent and brittle solid natural resin, mainly composed of resin acid. Its appearance is light yellow to light brown, with a glassy luster and a turpentine odor. It is easily oxidized in the air and its color darkens. Can dissolve in ethanol, ether,  carbon disulfide, dichloroethane, turpentine,  oils, and alkaline solutions. Insoluble in cold water, slightly soluble in hot water.
