Product Description

High Quality Polyvinyl Chloride PVC Resin
Polyvinyl chloride, abbreviated as PVC in English, is vinyl chloride monomer with initiators such as peroxides and azo compounds. Or polymers polymerized according to the mechanism of free radical polymerization under the action of light and heat. Vinyl chloride homopolymers and vinyl chloride copolymers are collectively referred to as vinyl chloride resins.

PVC is a white powder with an amorphous structure, a relatively low degree of branching, a relative density of about 1.4, a glass transition temperature of 77 to 90ºC, and begins to decompose at around 170ºC. It has poor stability to light and heat. When exposed to temperatures above 100ºC or prolonged sunlight, it will decompose to produce hydrogen chloride and further undergo autocatalytic decomposition, causing discoloration and a rapid decline in physical and mechanical properties. In practical applications, stabilizers must be added to enhance the stability against heat and light.

The molecular weight of PVC produced industrially is generally within the range of 50,000 to 110,000, showing significant polydispersity. The molecular weight increases as the polymerization temperature decreases. It has no fixed melting point. It begins to soften at 80 to 85ºC, turns into a viscoelastic state at 130ºC, and starts to transform into a viscous flow state at 160 to 180ºC. It has good mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of about 60MPa and an impact strength of 5 to 10kJ/m². It has excellent dielectric properties.

1. Polyvinyl chloride profile
Profiles and special-shaped profiles are the largest consumption areas of PVC in China, accounting for about 25% of the total PVC consumption. They are mainly used in the production of doors and Windows and energy-saving materials, and their application volume still has a considerable increase across the country. In developed countries, the market share of plastic doors and Windows also ranks first. For instance, it is 50% in Germany, 56% in France and 45% in the United States.

2. Polyvinyl chloride pipes
Among the numerous polyvinyl chloride (PVC) products, PVC pipes are the second largest consumption area, accounting for approximately 20% of its total consumption. In China, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes were developed earlier than PE pipes and PP pipes. They come in a wide variety, have excellent performance and are widely used, thus occupying an important position in the market.

3. Polyvinyl chloride film
The consumption of PVC in the PVC film field ranks third, accounting for approximately 10%. After PVC is mixed with additives and plasticized, it is processed into transparent or colored films of specified thickness by three-roll or four-roll calendering machines. Films processed in this way are called calendered films. It is also possible to process packaging bags, raincoats, tablecloths, curtains, inflatable toys, etc. through cutting and heat sealing. Wide transparent films can be used for greenhouses, plastic sheds and ground films. The biaxially stretched film, with its characteristic of thermal shrinkage, can be used for shrink packaging.

4.PVC rigid materials and sheets
By adding stabilizers, lubricants and fillers to PVC and then mixing it, various diameters of hard pipes, special-shaped pipes and corrugated pipes can be extruded by an extruder, which can be used as sewer pipes, drinking water pipes, electrical conduit or stair railings. By overlapping and hot-pressing the calendered thin sheets, hard plates of various thicknesses can be made. The plates can be cut into the required shapes and then welded into various chemical-resistant storage tanks, air ducts and containers with hot air using PVC welding rods.

5.PVC is generally a soft product
Extruders can be used to extrude hoses, cables, wires, etc. By using injection molding machines in combination with various molds, plastic sandals, shoe soles, slippers, toys, auto parts, etc. can be produced.

6. Polyvinyl chloride packaging materials
Polyvinyl chloride products are mainly used for packaging, including various containers, films and hard sheets. PVC containers are mainly used for the production of mineral water, beverage and cosmetic bottles, and are also used for the packaging of refined oil. PVC film can be co-extruded with other polymers to produce low-cost laminated products, as well as transparent products with good barrier properties. Polyvinyl chloride film can also be used for stretch or heat shrink packaging, for packaging mattresses, fabrics, toys and industrial goods.

7. Polyvinyl chloride wall panels and floors
Polyvinyl chloride wall panels are mainly used to replace aluminum wall panels. Apart from a portion of polyvinyl chloride resin, the rest of the components in polyvinyl chloride floor tiles are recycled materials, adhesives, fillers and other components. They are mainly used in the floors of airport terminals and other hard surfaces.

8. Daily consumer goods made of polyvinyl chloride
Luggage bags are traditional products made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). PVC is used to make various faux leathers for luggage bags and sports goods such as basketballs, footballs and rugby balls. It can also be used to make belts for uniforms and special protective equipment. Polyvinyl chloride fabrics for clothing are generally adsorbent fabrics (no coating required), such as raincoats, baby pants, faux leather jackets and various rain boots. Polyvinyl chloride is used in many sports and entertainment products, such as toys, records and sports goods. The growth rate of polyvinyl chloride toys and sports goods is large, and it has an advantage due to its low production cost and easy molding.

9. Pvc-coated products
Artificial leather with a substrate is made by applying PVC paste onto fabric or paper and then plasticizing it at a temperature above 100ºC. It can also be made by first calendering PVC and additives into a film and then laminating it with the substrate. Artificial leather without a substrate is directly calendered into soft thin sheets of a certain thickness by a calender and then patterned. Artificial leather can be used to make suitcases, handbags, book covers, sofa seats and car seat cushions, as well as floor leather, which is used as a paving material for buildings.

10.PVC foam products
When soft PVC is mixed, an appropriate amount of foaming agent is added to make sheet materials. After foaming, it is formed into foam plastic, which can be used as foam slippers, sandals, insoles and shock-absorbing and cushioning packaging materials. It can also be made into low-foaming hard PVC sheets and profiles by extruders, which can be used as a substitute for wood and is a new type of building material.

11.PVC transparent sheet
By adding impact modifiers and organotin stabilizers to PVC and then mixing, plasticizing and calendering it, a transparent sheet is formed. Thermoforming can be used to make thin-walled transparent containers or for vacuum forming packaging, making it an excellent packaging and decorative material.
