Due to its antibacterial and antiviral properties, it is widely used in the FDA-approved treatment of wounds and burns.Colorless, transparent and sweet viscous liquid and belongs to organic. It can absorb moisture, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide from the air. Large quantity may cause anesthesia. It is the framework component of triglyceride molecule.
