Plastic Raw Material Virgin Granules Blow Molding Grade HDPE Resin Price High Density Polyethylene
High-density Polyethylene (HDPE for short), also known as low-pressure Polyethylene, is a type of polyethylene with High crystallinity and a semi-transparent non-polar surface to a certain extent. PE has excellent resistance to most household and industrial chemicals.

HDPE is a thermoplastic resin with high crystallinity and non-polarity. High-density polyethylene is a white powder granular product, non-toxic and odorless, with a density ranging from 0.940 to 0.976 g/cm ³. The crystallinity is 80% to 90%, the softening point is 125 to 135ºC, and the service temperature can reach 100ºC. The melting temperature is 120 to 160ºC. For materials with larger molecules, it is recommended that the melting temperature range be between 200 and 250ºC. It has excellent heat resistance and cold resistance, good chemical stability, as well as high rigidity and toughness, and good mechanical strength. Dielectric properties, environmental stress cracking resistance is also good. The hardness, tensile strength and creep resistance are superior to those of low-density polyethylene. It has good wear resistance, electrical insulation, toughness and cold resistance, but its insulation is slightly inferior to that of low-density ones. It has good chemical stability. At room temperature, it is insoluble in any organic solvents and resistant to corrosion by acids, alkalis and various salts. The film has low permeability to water vapor and air and low water absorption. It has poor aging resistance and is less resistant to environmental cracking than low-density polyethylene. Especially, thermal oxidation will cause its performance to decline. Therefore, antioxidants and ultraviolet absorbers need to be added to the resin to improve and address these deficiencies. The heat distortion temperature of high-density polyethylene film under force is relatively low.
