Product Description

Dioctyl terephthalate (DOTP) molecular formula: C24H38O4 is a high-performance main plasticizer used in PVC plastics. Compared with the commonly used dioctyl phthalate (DOP), it has the advantages of heat resistance, cold resistance, low volatility, anti extraction, good flexibility, and electrical insulation performance. It exhibits excellent durability, soap water resistance, and low softness in products. Due to its low volatility, DOTP can fully meet the temperature resistance requirements of wires and cables, and can be widely used in 70 ºC resistant cable materials (International Electrotechnical Commission IEC standards) and other PVC soft products. DOTP can be used not only as a plasticizer for cable materials and PVC, but also in the production of synthetic leather films. In addition, it has excellent compatibility and can be used as a plasticizer for synthetic rubber, coating additive, precision instrument lubricant, lubricant additive, and also as a softener for paper.
