Product Description

Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid is also known as sulfonic acid, ABS linear alkyl benzene sulfonic acid, LABSA, DBSA, DDBSA. Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid (C18H30O3S), also called linear alkylbenzene, dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid. It is an anionic surfactant. It is often used as a raw material for various detergents or used to produce linear alkylbenzene sulfonate sodium, ammonium and  salts. It can also be used as a curing catalyst for amino baking paints.
LABSA is characterized by a hydrophilic and a hydrophobic group. This nonvolatile chemical compound is synthesized through the process of sulfonation. 
LABSA is widely used in a variety of detergents and emulsifiers, such as washing powder, daily-use chemical detergent, utensils detergents and textile industry of the cleaning agent, dye, electroplating industry, leather industry, degreasing agents and paper industry's de-coloring agent. Household detergents including laundry powders, laundry liquids, dishwashing liquids and other household cleaners.
