Product Description

Molecular formula: C₁₇H₃₅ (COO)₂ Ca
Property: It is White powder, insoluble in water, cold ethanol and ethyl- ether, soluble in organic solvents such as hot benzene, benzene and turpentine, slightly soluble in hot ethanol and ethyl -ether.When heated to 400ºC, it will decompose slowly and be flammable. When met with strong acid, it will decompose into stearic acid and corresponding calcium salt, which has hygroscopic property.
